Lee County athletes signs scholarships

Leesburg - Lee County held a signing party for infielder Matt Bacon. Bacon signed a schlolarship this week with Darton College.

This afternoon, Lee County defensive back Deon Grant signed a football scholarship with the Apprentice School.

The Apprentice School is a NCAA Division III member in Newport News, Virginia.

A broken ankle cut short Deon's senior season at Lee County but he was an all-region player his junior season for the Trojans.
