Lowndes County's "Carpzilla"?

May 14, 2007

Lowndes County - South Georgians will never forget the capture of the one thousand pound Hogzilla, but now one Lowndes County man says he's caught "Carpzilla."

Ernest McDonald pulled this massive grass carp out of a private pond in Lowndes County.

The fish is so big, it broke his net.

It weighs 60 pounds and measures about four feet in length.

The North American record weighed 78 pounds, 12 ounces and was caught out of the Flint River in 2003.
