Albany - It has not taken new Georgia Southern coach Chris Hatcher long to win over Eagle fans with his embracing the traditions of Southern football.
Another reason is the coaching staff Hatcher has put together.
Georgia Southern's offensive coordinator is Rance Gillespie.
The same Rance Gillespie who has won two straight state titles at Peach County High School.
Gillespie was in Albany to meet with Georgia Southern boosters and he says the thing he likes the most about his new boss is his postive attitude.
Rance Gillespie said "He is one of the most positive guys that I have ever been around. The glass is always half-full with him. He brings a lot of excitement. He is guy that is a lot of fun to be around every day. "
The Chris Hatcher era at Georgia Southern begins on September 8th in Statesboro against West Georgia.
