Albany - Offensive mistakes were a big reason for the South Georgia Wildcats loss last week at Rio Grande.
But there were also mistakes over on defense.
Head coach Derek Stingley has seen enough.
The Wildcats on Thursday signed defensive back Cory Bailey.
Bailey was the leading tackler on a very good Florida Firecat defense last year.
Bailey, who released in training camp by New Orleans in the AFL, was teammates with the Wildcats Matt Jackson at the University of Florida.
Jackson told Bailey he should come to the Wildcats and play for coach Stingley.
Bailey has decided to do just that in time to face his former team on Saturday.
Cory Bailey said "Some of them feel that I should still be down there and a couple of them feel that I made the right move. Some of them just really, really don't care. It is going to be a battle on Saturday no matter which team I was on."
Coach Stingley says he will decide Saturday to put either Greg Golden or John Barnes on the inactive list for the Florida game.
