Dawson - Deciding on which college to attend is a tough decision for any high school athlete.

But having to pick a college and a sport is even harder.

Terrell Academy's Courtney Spilman on Wednesday signed a softball scholarship with Donna Campbell's ABAC Fillies.

Spilman was a four time all-state performer at Terrell Academy and a big reason why the Lady Eagles won two straight state titles.

Spilman also was a four time all-state performer in basketball where she scholarship offers.

ABAC and Darton both offerend here the chance to play both sports.

Spilman says she loves both sports but softball is in her heart and family.

Courtney Spilman said "I started off playing t-ball when I was little. My dad played baseball my mom played softball. And really my whole family has just been around baseball and softball.

Courtney Spilman was also on state champion Terrell Academy tennis team two years ago.

And this year was the leading scorer on the girls soccer team despite playing four games.
