Albany - Even though they work on the same campus day in and day out, many employees at Albany Technical college, don't know their co-workers very well. That's why a campus wide scavenger hunt was held today for faculty, staff and administrators.
It's a tie-in to public employee recognition week. Folks hunted down Q-tips, gloves, even a Christmas ornament. Alfred Hosely claimed his team won, but soon found out they were far behind. He says that's okay, because it was fun to get to know his co-workers better. "Just a little something to motivate the employees," he said. "Keep us on things here at Albany Tech."
On Thursday, employees will compete in an Albany Tech Idol contest.
