Albany - Deerfield-Windsor coach Brad Cowart is leaving the Knights.
Athletic director Gordy Gruhl says Cowart is leaving Deerfield-Windsor to accept a position in the guidance department at Lee County High School.
Cowart has been the Knights head coach for the last eight seasons.
He led Deerfield-Windsor to a state title in 2003 and the Knights were state runner-up in 2005.
The search for a new head baseball coach at Deerfield-Windsor is already over.
