Thomasville --  Thomasville tastes the south- and you can too, at the Thomas County Cultural Center this evening.

One of the cultural center's largest fund raisers allows people to sample food from 31 restaurants from Thomasville and the surrounding area.

"You stop by and you taste their very favorite recipe," says Barbara Cohenour of the Thomas County Cultural Center. "By the time you taste 31 places you realize you're going to be really full. We don't want you to just get to do one of your favorite things, which is eat.  We want you also to get to do shopping."

Hundreds of items and services of all kinds will be on display for a silent auction.   The doors open at 6PM, and a live auction will follow at 8PM.  You can buy tickets at the door.
