Sylvester - - Sylvester has a new city manager and she's no stranger to town.

Debbie Bridges hasn't been on the job for a month, but she's already getting into the swing of things.

She's been with the city of Sylvester for 30 years. She was the city clerk before the appointment and although she will now have more responsibilities, she feels it's a job she can handle.

"I felt like I've been with the city for 30 years and I feel like I have a lot to contribute to the community because I know a lot of the citizens and I live here and I feel like we can all work together," Bridges says.

She also says she wants to foster team work, community involvement, and customer service to her position. Kathy Wise replaces her as City Clerk.
