Albany -- An East Albany restaurant manager says she is still troubled after she and two fellow employees were robbed at gunpoint by a masked man, and then forced into a cooler.

A man wearing a stocking over his face and carrying a black pistol robbed the Western Sizzlin on East Oglethorpe Boulevard just after 8:00 Monday morning.

The manager did not want to go on camera, but said the man forced two employees into the cooler, and then demanded money, pointing out the restaurant's safe in floor.

The masked gunman took more than two thousand dollars in cash, and forced all three women in the cooler before he fled. The employees waited five minutes in the cooler before coming out and calling Police.

The robber is described as 5-foot-9 inches tall and 160 pounds, and they suspect was an ex-employee.
