Albany -- The Darton soccer team has had a lot of success in just a short amount of time.
Both the men's and women's teams finishing in first place in the conference last season, and the Lady Cavs played for the National Championship in 2005.
Three Darton players used that success to their advantage Friday, signing to continue their soccer careers at Virginia Intermont College. G
ary Warner, Layton Yancey, and Katherine Trimm will join the NAIA school next season.
Warner led the men's team in scoring in 2006.
Yancey and Trimm are part of a Lady Cavs team that went 43-3 the last two years.
They'll find similar success at Virginia Intermont, as the women's team has made two national championship appearances, and the men's team has been there 3 of the last 4 seasons.
