Americus-- Thursday, Sumter Regional Hospital kicked off its indestructible campaign. They handed out special t-shirts to employees and encouraged workers to sign up to do volunteer work in the community.

The hospital was destroyed by the March 1st tornado, and they're still not sure if any of it can be saved. "The building has been damaged, but our spirit is still high, and we are still committed to the community. So, we just wanted to start this operation and give out t-shirts to make sure that our employees wear them around town to let everybody know that we're still here," Marketing Director Marcus Johnson said.

The hospital continues to operate out of temporary facilities and expand its services. Oncology services restarted earlier this month. You can buy one of those indestructible t-shirts for 5-dollars. The money goes to the hospital's rebuilding fund.
