Albany- - Three South Georgia men appeared before a U.S. Magistrate judge Friday after Tift County deputies and the U.S. Marshal's office picked them up Thursday for possession of cocaine.

29 year old Leroy Barnes was arrested at his family's home in Tifton. 26 year old Roderick Baisden turned himself in after hearing deputies were looking for him. Investigators caught 35 year old Ricardo Brown while he was working his route as a truck driver Thursday in Lowndes county.

All three men had been in jail previously for drug charges, but officers transferred those state charges to federal charges to prevent them from being eligible for parole.

The men appeared before U.S. magistrate judge Richard Hodge Friday for a first appearance hearing. He set each suspect's bond at $15,000.
