Valdosta - A memorial is has been set for a Valdosta sailor killed in Iraq last week.
26 year-old Adam McSween was killed in action last Friday while serving for the Navy in Iraq.
McSween grew up in Valdosta and was an active member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ.
The church will hold a memorial service Saturday, April 21st for the friends he left behind.
The service will take place at noon in the central church building.
McSween was a Petty Officer in the Navy assigned to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit.
