Albany --  Albany Police and Arson Investigators are trying to find out who threw a molotov cocktail through an East Albany home window Friday morning.

About 2:00AM, someone threw a glass bottle filled with gasoline with a cloth wick through the window of a Teche Avenue home. Investigators say the bottle did not break, and the wick was not lit when it hit inside the home, so it did not start a fire, but they say some of the gasoline did leak out of the bottle.

There were five people at home when the molotov cocktail was thrown, most of them children.

If you have any information about this attack, call CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
