Albany  --  Isakson addressed the Albany Rotary Club Thursday. Much of his message focused on the war in Iraq, and he wants the state to show its support for the war.

Republican Isakson says he agrees 100 percent with President Bush's war plan, and he says Americans should stand behind their leader.   "We're in the ultimate war between good and evil. Iraq is but one battle in the global war on terror. Anytime youre engaged in battle, you make mistakes. But the biggest mistake would be to cut and run or to withdraw."

Senator Isakson also spoke out against illegal immigration. He says he plans to push legislation to fully support border security programs before granting citizenship to illegal immigrants.
