Albany-- The South Georgia Wildcats began their season with a win this past weekend. A new promotion by the team aims to bring more people to the Civic Center to witness their next possible victory.
The Wildcats announced Tuesday their first ever Spring Break Ticket Promotion. Fans who buy two tickets to this Saturday's game against Louisville at regular price will get a third one for free.
The team wants South Georgians to support them and feel like last week's win along with an extra incentive will get people through the doors.
"We feel like there are a lot of fans who are taking the wait and see approach this year so hopefully with winning game one and doing this buy two get one free at any price level, it will bring more fans out for game two," said Wildcats General Manager Darren McPhail.
Tickets have to be purchased at the Albany Civic Center between the hours of 10 a.m and 6 p.m through Friday only. The buy two get one free deal cannot be received on Saturday.
