Albany -- Stonebridge County Club hosted the Georgia Power Classic golf tournament Monday to benefit the American Cancer Society and the March of Dimes.
Over 100 golfers showed up to play in the 3-man scramble, which is now in its ninth year.
Hole-in-one contests featuring a truck on hole-16 and a motorcycle on hole number-4 went unclaimed, but tournament director Tommy Norman says it's never hard to find members of the community willing participate.
"They call and ask when it is early every year," says Norman. "We have really good participation. We have the same group of businesses doing hole in ones that participate with us every year, doing hole-in-ones, closest-to-the-pins, and we appreciate everything they do."
The tournament is expected to raise around seven-thousand dollars this year.
