Albany -- A dilapidated house in East Albany was gutted in an afternoon fire.
The house located on Sunbeam Lane, just off of Broad Avenue, caught fire around 1:45PM Monday.
Investigators say the house was abandoned, and the power was cut off, so they are still trying to figure out exactly how the fire started.
Neighbors say the house was a haven for illegal activity.
