Albany -- Theatre Albany will host a fundraiser with Irish flare this Saint Patrick's Day weekend.
Atlanta-based Irish band Keltic Kudzu will perform. The Saint Paddy's Bash will be held Friday night at the Thronateeksa Heritage Center. Tickets are $40 at the door. All the money will benefit the non-profit theatre.
"We're hoping it will be a lot of fun. Some area restaurants have been kind enough to donate food items. We'll have a special tasting from 7-9 of Irish whiskeys and beers and liquors and all that. Just dancing and fun after that," said Theatre Albany General Manager Lon McNeil.
The event runs from 7 to 11 Friday night. You can get tickets in advance at the Pine Street Theatre box office or at the event.
