Albany - A frightening wreck in Albany Monday during the lunch rush. A car flipped completely upside down and landed in a yard in the 1900 block of Dawson Road near Forest Glen Drive.

Albany police say 88-year old Ethel Clarke of Albany was driving South on Dawson when she turned into 40-year old Charles Walton's car, hitting the driver's side rear door. That caused Walton's car to spin and hit the curb, then he flipped.

Walton was taken to Phoebe to be checked out but should be okay. Clarke has been charged with failure to yield. Police say Walton was wearing his seat belt and that likely prevented serious injury.
