Montevallo, AL -- The Albany State men's basketball team was fresh off their SIAC championship, and looking to pull a big-time upset against Montevallo in the opening round of the Division II tournament.

The Rams hoped to advance to the next round for just the second time in school history while facing the 13th-ranked Falcons on their home court, but Albany State falls 78-62.

The Lady Blazers give top-ranked and undefeated Florida Gulf Coast all they can handle in Fort Myers, but fall in the second round 50-41.
