Webster County - - A Georgia Public Broadcasting tower hit by the tornado is out of commission and the station doesn't know how long it will take to repair it.

The nearly 1100 foot tower, built in 1966, is now on the ground, with parts scattered in the bushes.

GPTV is trying to figure out the damages and their meeting with insurance adjusters before announcing any plans.

Viewers who watch GPTV on cable will still be able to catch the public broadcasting programs aren't, but anyone who gets the signal from WACS Channel 25 by antenna won't be able to see that station for a while.
