Lowndes County - Lowndes Countians are delivering hope to Baker County tornado victims.
The County Commission loaded a trailer this morning full of goods collected for storm victims.
They spend the day in Baker County delivering the goods to those who need it most.
They also plan to see how emergency officials set up shop in the devastated areas and use it to prepare for future disasters. "That will give us a hands on opportunity so if it does happen here in Lowndes County we'll know how to act so having that hands on will help us tremendously," says County Commissioner J. Edgar Roberts.
They will continue collecting items for people in Baker County as long as GEMA says its needed.
