Mitchell County -- Mitchell County sustained a lot of damage from Thursday's turbulent weather.

Most of the homes on Gravel Hill Road were damaged. City crews spent the day working to restore power to the neighborhood as people in the community came together to help clear the debris and trees.

Deloach Roofing, a Camilla based company, was on the scene doing repair work. Owners say they got about 50 phone calls this morning.

"Everybody's pretty shaken up. Everybody's kinda frantic, upset. It's catastrophic. Damages to their house trying to explain what's going on with it. Everybody's a little shook up," says Shea DeLoach.

DeLoach says he expects his crews to work through the weekend.
