911 Center Director takes leave of absence

March 1, 2007

Clinch County - An employee of a South Georgia Tri-County 911 Center is accused of having sexually explicit materials on his work computer.

Investigators with the Clinch County Sheriff's Office say the director of the center took a leave of absence after the allegations came to light.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation seized his computer and is now searching it for any inappropriate material.

They hope to have answers by Monday.

The 911 Center oversees Clinch, Lanier, and Atkinson County.
