Valdosta - A tenant of an apartment complex in Valdosta helped Police catch a suspected burglar.
20 year-old LaVictory Montgomery of Valdosta was caught shortly after breaking into an apartment complex on East Park Avenue.
A woman who lives in one of the apartments says she saw Montgomery and another man breaking in to her neighbor's apartment. She then called her neighbor, James Moye, who got home just as the burglars were leaving. "She also alerted the owner of the apartment. He had just left the complex, responded back and actually detained the individual," says Brian Childress of the Valdosta Police.
Police were not able to catch the second man at the time but they say they have identified him and hope to have him arrested soon.
