Moultrie --  A Moultrie Police Investigator who shot and killed a store clerk last year returned to the job Wednesday.

In January the District Attorney said the store surveillance video proved the shooting of Willie Banks was justified. He decided not to prosecute Sgt. Bruce Hamm.

The video shows a confrontation between three officers and Banks at the One Stop Convenience Store in November. The police were trying to arrest Banks on an outstanding warrant when he pulled a hunting knife out of his pocket.

Banks refused orders to drop it, and when he began to walk toward officers, Sgt. Hamm fired.
