Sylvester-  While most people were throwing out jars of Peter Pan Peanut Butter over the weekend, the Mayor of the Peanut Capitol of the World was sitting down to lunch with a peanut butter sandwich.

Sylvester Mayor Bill Yearta says he doesn't think the FDA will find any contamination at the ConAgra Plant. Yearta had two jars of the recalled peanut butter in his pantry and he says with all the talk of peanut butter, he got hungry, and made himself a sandwich.

"Saturday afternoon I actually had a peanut butter sandwich, you know Peter Pan is the best peanut butter on the market in my opinion and with all the talk of peanut butter, I got hungry and for a peanut butter sandwich and I ate one and I'm doing great," said Bill Yearta, Sylvester Mayor.

The FDA has advised consumers not to eat any Peter Pan Peanut Butter purchased since May of 2006. Grocery stores and ConAgra Foods are refunding customers money.
