Albany -- Burglars strike at two neighboring Albany businesses early Sunday morning. Police say Temptations and The Tattoo Shop in the 2200 block North Slappey Boulevard were both hit around 4 a.m.

The criminals smashed through the glass front doors with a rock and stole small amounts of cash from both stores, as well as a tattoo machine from the tattoo parlor.

Surveillance video from the Tattoo Shop shows a man with a dark colored hoody and light colored gloves break into the shop.

"This is our livelihood, and we work really hard for what we've got. It hurts to know that somebody, all they would of have to have done is ask. They wouldn't of had to break in. We're willing to help just about anybody within reason," said The Tattoo Shop owner Tina Casey.

Video Warehouse next door was not struck and workers called to inform police about the break-ins around ten Sunday morning.
