Worth County --  A Worth County School System bus carrying special education students and a semi-truck owned by Relwof Farms side-swiped each other this morning on Highway 256, known as the Scooterville Highway, about three miles east of Sylvester.

There were no serious injuries apparent, and school officials sent another bus to transport the children to the hospital for examinations.

The original bus ended up in a ditch, and the semi, driven by Paul Nathan Childs, 36, stopped in a field. The bus driver was said to have some bruises.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident, and we will have information when it becomes available.
