Some of South Georgia's best and brightest science students from seventeen counties showed off their expertise today at the 35th annual Darton College Regional Science Fair. 180-projects were on display by middle and high school students.

Check out this one that featured DVD's fired on electrically by a tesla coil.  It had some amazing results that this Middle school student enjoyed discovering.

"This project did meet my expectations, but I would like to do some more research on this project"said student William Chan. 

Judges interviewed the students about their projects to see what they've learned from their scientific studies.

Awards will be handed out tonigh. Twenty to thirty top regional award winners will be invited to display their projects at the State Science Fair at the University of Georgia.
