Thomasville-- Thomasville will be featured on the Armed Forces network shown to service men and women overseas.  Favorite sights and scenes that are significant to Thomasville will be showcased.

On February 16th people in Thomasville will gather at the courthouse for a community shout-out.   "The goal is to show the service men and to remind them of what they're fighting for and obviously small towns across America, its real people, hard working folks at home," said Karen Smith, director of Downtown Thomasville Main Street.

The segment will be hosted by Mayor David Lewis.  Among what's featured in the video will be the legendary Big Oak, Flowers Bakery, the courthouse, and historic downtown Thomasville.
