Albany - - The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward up to $2500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people who shot cats in Albany.

Last month we told you about several cats neighbors say were killed off of Coolidge Drive and 10th Avenue.

After hearing about cats being shot in the area, Shirley Schmidt returned home to find her cat had been shot too.

People in the neighborhood said they saw two men shooting at cats driving a black pickup truck.

Albany Police are searching for the suspects. The Humane Society of the United States is a non-profit animal protection advocacy group with offices in Atlanta.
