Valdosta- Valdosta State overcame a 15 point halftime deficit to beat North Alabama 73-65 Monday night at The Complex.
Herman Burge and Mike Crain both had 17 points each for the Blazers who used an 11-2 run to start the second half.
The win improves the VSU men to 17-5 and 6-2 in the Gulf South Conference.
The Lady Blazers had another thrilling win.
Carley Peterson's basket in the closing seconds nips North Alabama 53-52.
The Lady Blazers (17-5, 7-1) avenging their one and only conference loss to date.
Nina Risto led the VSU women with 11 points.
One other local score 13th ranked ABAC wins at Coastal Georgia 108-99.
Todd Sheppard's Stallions are now 22-3.
