Lady Rams split twinbill

Albany - The Albany State softball team beat Brewton-Parker 7-2 in the Lady Rams home opener Monday afternoon.

It is also the first victory of the season for the Lady Rams after suffering three losses in a weekend tournament at Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Brewton-Parker won the second game 10-2.

Albany State Lady Rams are back at home Friday at 1:00 p.m. against West Georgia.
