Albany-  Albany Police are questioning several people after a cat was found shot to death last week in the city and now another cat was found strangled in Boyette Village.  Betty Cook's son found the cat with wire wrapped around it's neck Friday.

The cat had been tied to a doorknob outside their home here in the 1800 block of Mississippi Avenue. Last weekend, Shirley Schmidt found one of her five cats shot to death near her home on 10th Avenue.

Albany Police Monday questioned several people about the cat shooting. Police haven't said if they think the two deaths are related.
