Albany -- Package stores expect their beer sales to be the biggest of the year on Saturday leading up to the big game.

The Bud Bowl is on at Lighthouse Liquors, which set up a big display for Sunday's Matchup. They received several shipments this week from distributors stocking up in anticipation of this weekend's sales.

"People just come in and they buy cases and cases of it, it is a challenge to keep up with it especially Saturday. We'll probably start around 12 o'clock and probably end at midnight," says Lighthouse Liquor manager Jason Watts.

The store said alcohol sales for Super Bowl Sunday are often higher than sales for New Year's Eve.
