Sylvester - - Football players at Worth County High School are honored for their dedication.

The school held its end of the year banquet Sunday.

Parents and supporters packed the school's cafeteria as players received awards and letter jackets.

The ceremony took a different spin at the end when the football team announced it is naming the school's football field after one of its former coaches, Milt Miller.

"He really touched a lot of young people's lives here. He took us to four state championship games. We won one state championship and in that tenure he just really meant a lot to a lot of people here," says Touchdown Club President Butch Jenkins.

Miller was the guest speaker at the banquet. The announcement was a surprise.
