Albany -- Quail Unlimited hosted an annual fundraising dinner and auction as part of its annual Celebrity Hunt.
Music and movie stars, sponsors, hunters, and landowners enjoyed the event at the Civic Center. Hunters will hit the fields again Saturday morning at more than 40 properties in the Albany area.
Quail Unlimited is a nationwide quail habitat and land conservation organization.
"We have a network of local chapters across the country dedicated to doing habitat management work for the bobwhite quail, and this is really the superbowl of all our national events. We're really pleased to be here in Albany," said Donnie Buckland.
This is Quail Unlimited's biggest fundraiser of the year.
