Thomasville-- Police responded to an alarm set off at Lowe's around 11:30 Wednesday night. They found 31 year-old Perry Cooper leaving a back entrance of the store.
Cooper told police he was a security guard for the store. "Through a little further checking that Lowe's doesn't even have, didn't have a security guard working up there that night, they found some power tools that he had put in a buggy," said Sgt. Ricky Singletary of the Thomasville Police Department.
Police say they think Cooper was going to try to sell the power tools. He was arrested and charged with burglary.
