Bainbridge - Bainbridge High has hired a new head coach.

Ricky Woods, who has won four class 5-A state championships at South Panola High School in Batesville, Mississippi was approved Thursday night by the Decatur County Board of Education.

Over the last five seasons, South Panola's record was 74-1 and they have been ranked among the top 25 teams in the country in the last four years.

Woods replaces Greg Guy who resigned in late November.
