Albany - Darton golf coach Dale Dover continues to land some of the state's top talent.
The two-time defending junior college national champions Friday signed Colquitt County golfer Aaron Elrod.
Elrod was a member of the Colquitt County state championship golf team where he was the medalist last year.
Elrod is looking forward to contiuning Darton's championship tradition when he joins the squad in the fall.
Aaron Elrod said. "They are going to treat me good. And they are going to treat me like a national champion even though this is my first year."
The Darton golf team begins their spring schedule next month at a tournament in Melbourne, Florida.
