Lee County--

Just how low will they go???

Yes, we are talking about gas prices.

While much of the country is experiencing gas prices as high as three dollars at times, that's certainly not the case in Lee County.

Right off Highway 19 in Leesburg, gas is selling for $2.08 at two competing gas stations.

Chevron and Flash Foods have been dropping their prices since Friday.

One of the store's managers says it's become a little bit of a game.

Of course, drivers don't mind the competition between the two.

"Does that have anything to do with you coming here? Yeah. I know they've started the same but this is easier to get in," says Jeremy Cox.

The national average for a gallon of gasoline sells for $2.25.

Gas is about $2.15 a gallon in the Albany and surrounding area.
