Albany -- Dougherty High School football coach Carror Wright is leaving the Trojans to take the head coaching position at Southwest Macon high school.
The Macon Telegraph is reporting Wright has accepted the position, pending board of education approval.
Wright was the head coach at Northeast Macon before coming to Dougherty County three years ago, and guided the Trojans to the AAA state championship game in 2005.
Southwest Macon hasn't had a winning season since 1989, and were saddled with a 23 game losing streak going into last season.
Calls to coach Wright for comment were not immediately returned.
