Falcons Hire Petrino

The Atlanta Falcons have a head coach.

Louisville's Bobby Petrino Sunday agreeing to fill the open head coaching position with the Falcons.

Petrino had a 41-9 record in four years with the Cardinals, winning 12 games and the Orange Bowl this season.

He just completed the first year of a ten-year, 25-million dollar deal at Louisville.

Petrino has experience in the NFL, spending two years as quarterbacks coach and one as offensive coordinator with the Jaguars.

The Falcons fired Jim Mora Jr. a week ago, after Atlanta missed out on the playoffs for the second year in a row.
