Albany - - A new ice cream shop is opening its doors to new customers in Albany. There's only two shops of its kind in Georgia.
Maggie Moo's Ice Cream shop is in its second week of operation off Dawson Road. Maggie herself came out Sunday to welcome new customers to the shop.
You can choose from 22 flavors of ice cream and select from 40 different toppings to add to your dessert.
"We make our ice cream fresh daily on site. We take it and we put it on a frozen slab over here and we add any mix-ins that you'd like to have with that," says Lew Culpepper.
Other Maggie Moo's are located in Dunwoody, Greenville South Carolina, Jacksonville and Tampa, Florida.
