Moultrie - - Police are determining if alcohol was a factor in a three car wreck that sent a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say 41 year old Hipolito Zatote-Alvaredo was driving north on Main Street in Moultrie Saturday night when he side swiped 42 year old Deloris Jenkins who was driving south.

Alvaredo then hit 37 year old Johnny Alton Allen. Police say Allen had to be rushed to Archbold Hospital with very serious injuries. The hospital was unable to provide his condition Sunday night.

Alvaredo is being held at the Colquitt County Jail because police say he had an outstanding bench warrant for a previous DUI case.
