Albany -- Police respond to three home invasions in Albany in one day, and suspects in all three incidents are still on the loose.
The first incident happened at duplex in the 3900 block of Rodnor Forest Lane around 12 noon on Friday. A mother and infant son hid inside their home when the burglar kicked in and entered through the back door. Police say the burglar was not aware anyone was home at the time. The only description of the man is he was a short, black male.
The next home invasion happened around seven last night on Jasmine Court. Police say about a six-foot tall burglar wearing a mask and gloves entered the home through a side door. There was a man and woman at home, but neither were injured. The suspect got away with a purse with important papers and some cash, before he ran out the door and fled in a dark colored car.
The third incident happened around 12:30 last night at an apartment in the West Wind Apartment Complex on Dawson Road. Police say two men were home when an unknown person knocked on the door asking for someone who didn't live at the apartment. The burglar then rushed inside the apartment with a weapon and took some shoes and change.
No arrests have been made or subjects in question in any of the incidents. If you do know anything about any of the home invasions you are asked to call police at 431-2100.
