Albany -- This one could be connected to other recent robberies in the area. Iinvestigators say the more armed robberies, the greater the chance for someone to be hurt.
There have been several armed robberies in the Albany area over the past few weeks with no arrests. Early Friday morning, two robbers held up the Flash Foods in southern Dougherty County.
Surveillance video shows two masked bandits walk in the store. One of the men shoves a pistol in the clerk's face as they demand money. He clumsily handles the gun and almost drops it.
"Two men walked into the store. One of them had a gun an thy both demanded money from the cash register."Lt. J. C Phillips with Dougherty County Police says he needs your help to find the robbers and make sure no one gets hurt in a future armed robbery. "The way he was handling the gun, as you can see on the video, he really didn't know what he was doing with it. He could have accidentally shot her without knowing what he was doing."
Anyone with information on any of the recent armed robberies should call Dougherty County Police or Crime Stoppers at 436-TIPS.
